Understanding the Alerts view
The Alerts view shows documents that are nearing or have exceeded their approval dates.
To show the Alerts view:
In the workspace for which you want to view alerts, click the Alerts tab in the top pane. The Alerts view shows a document list that meets the active Filter settings.
To change the view's filters:
Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.
Alerts view filter options
Option
Description
Time period
Select an option to limit the documents shown in the view relative to their Approval date.
Responsibility
Select an option to limit the documents shown in the view relative to their Responsible user value.
Scope
Select which folders for which to show documents in the view. To see the view for a different folder, select the folder in the navigation pane.
Show
Select a quantity of documents to show in the view.
Click Filter in the view header. The view refreshes to show the documents that meet the selected Filter options. Overdue Approval dates are shown in red text.
Tip You can view the approval properties for individual documents by selecting a document to show its property page.
